QuickShot

In production · powers QuickTeam

A .NET backend framework that writes the boring parts.

QuickShot is a modular C#/.NET backend framework: type-safe data access generated at compile time, attribute-based endpoints and packages you add only when you need them. A module is three files (entity, DTO, service); repositories and controllers are generated.

Features

Source-generated data access

Add [TableSchema] to a class and get row mapping, a type-safe query builder and, with [Repository], full CRUD. No string-concatenated SQL.

Precise types

LongDateTime and LongDate for time, FixedDecimal for exact numbers and Money for currency, stored consistently in the database.

Web and security

[Controller] endpoints returning ApiResult<T>, JWT auth, row-level scopes, multi-tenancy, observability and KVKK/GDPR privacy tooling.

Platform packages

Jobs, notifications, realtime, rooms, workflow, cache, storage, import/export, sheets, templates via Puppeteer, PKCS#11 e-signature, video and FFmpeg conversion.

Benchmarked every release

CI re-measures speed, CPU, memory and GC against EF Core, Dapper and popular mappers for every version, and publishes the results in the docs.

Docs that link themselves

The documentation site is generated from the framework source: every public type and extension is indexed and inline code links to its definition.

In code

A typed query and a transactional write
// Read: the builder runs at the end of the chain
var items = await OrderQueryBuilder.Select()
    .WhereCustomerIdEquals(id)
    .OrderByIdAsc()
    .ListAsync(ct);

// Write: repository and builder share one transaction
await db.RunInTransactionAsync(async _ =>
{
    var orderId = await orders.CreateAsync(order, ct);
    await OrderLineQueryBuilder.Insert().From(line).NonQueryAsync(ct);
});

Performance

.NET 10, local PostgreSQL. Full method and limits in the docs.

AI

How AI fits in

QuickShot is designed to be written by AI as well as people. We ship an AI agent plugin with six skills and two commands so coding agents know the framework in projects that only consume the packages. Release by release, AI subagents build the same feature with EF Core and with QuickShot, and we track tokens, turns, compile errors and lines of code.
